April 3, 2026 – On Thursday, April 2, 2026 (Chaitra Purnima), millions of Hindus and the Indian diaspora across the globe observed Hanuman Jayanti 2026 — the sacred birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman (Bajrangbali). Devotees worshipped the divine symbol of immense strength, courage, unwavering devotion (bhakti), humility, and selfless service to Lord Ram.
From towering Hanuman statues and grand temple processions to community bhandaras and the landmark global online event Chalisas for Peace 2026, NRIs united in reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, performing Sundar Kand Path, offering sindoor and laddoos, and practising acts of seva. - Texas: Massive events at Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, Frisco (Dallas) and Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple, Sugar Land (home to one of the tallest Hanuman statues outside India). Special abhishekams, all-day darshan, Sundar Kand Path, and community feasts were organised.

The highlight of the worldwide celebrations was Chalisas for Peace 2026 — a 16-hour continuous global broadcast on April 2. Over 108 singers from more than 30 countries, including Krishna Das, Nina Rao, Anup Jalota, and Jai Uttal, chanted the Hanuman Chalisa 108 times in a unified effort dedicated to world peace.
